5 cool cocktail bars in Fulham

In 18th-century London, Fulham was known as a quarter for debauchery, the place where the city’s rich folks would come for its gambling and prostitution. But how the tables have turned. Today, Fulham is one of London’s most fashionable and upmarket areas. Home to chic boutiques, posh restaurants and a great variety of cocktail bars.

From cocktail bars themed on prohibition-era speakeasies and discos to those inspired by “Flatsharing” and even Polynesia, the mix of cocktail bars is as diverse as the mixes on their menus.

We took a trip to the West London borough and chose the coolest cocktail bars from the many it had to offer.

1. A mysterious Fulham cocktail bar: Evans & Peel Detective Agency

Fulham

Evans & Peel Detective Agency is a bit of a walking contradiction. The Fulham cocktail bar is a mixture of a prohibition-era basement speakeasy and a detective agency. With this quirky combo, there’s always some mystery in the air and secrets to be uncovered.

The cocktail menu is inspired by some of the biggest cases the agency has worked on, with “The smokey Mexican godfather” and “Fruity cheeky chappy” being the highlights.

If you’re wondering how this interesting combination works, just take the tube to Earl’s Court, E&P is only minutes away.
