1. The Farringdon cocktail bar that blends games with cocktails: 1920 Bar
Farringdon, London
What’s better than getting a drink with your friends? Getting a drink with your friends while playing a game. And at the 1920 Bar, with its multiple pool tables, dart machines and foosball tables that can be booked, games are at the heart of operations.
The interiors are modelled on the traditional American pool hall but with a dark, funky, graffitied twist. The menu is also heavily American-influenced, offering comfort food classics like burgers, hotdogs, nachos and a lot more. Coming to the cocktails, 1920 has a decent-sized offering. You can't help loving the “Je t’aime” and “The Last Samba” always gets you dancing!
The venue has two areas available for private hire. The smaller space can hold 30 to 70 people and the bigger one can hold 50 to 130 people. If you want to hold a big bash, the entire venue can accommodate 200 people and also comes with multiple HD screens, microphones and DJ facilities.
The bar gets its name from the 19-20 Great Sutton Street where it is situated and is a two-minute walk from Farringdon and Barbican tube stations.
