HANNAH sits on Battersea’s busy Lavender Hill street, in all its yellow glory. Offering up affordable food and drink against an industrial-casual backdrop, this Battersea bar manages the “price, food quality and general vibes” balancing act quite well.

Head to their happy hour for champagne cocktails until 9 pm. Take your pick of their Chambord Kir Royal (champagne, liqueur and raspberry), Champagne Classic (champagne, cognac, brown sugar, bitters, orange zest) or maybe the signature Hannah Spritz (Martini Fiero, prosecco, soda, grapefruit).

For food, cosy up with their gyoza, pork belly, baked camembert or the star of the show – £1.50 oysters every Tuesday from 1 pm - 9 pm. Their outdoor area is a nice addition, as are the sunsets, should you catch one.

A modern wine haven. That’s definitely one way to describe Vagabond’s Battersea branch. Located in Battersea Power Station, the bar fits right in with its exposed pipes, concrete pillars and mixed wood interiors.

If you’re bored with the usual red, white and rosé, Vagabond is home to over 100 types of wine. With barrels and bottles on display, the bar stocks everything from sparkling, white, and red to rosé, orange and sweet wines (of the mainstream and indie variety).

Take your pick from one of their interactive wine machines, sit back, and enjoy the night.

The entire venue can be privately hired for events with up to 80 seated guests or 120 standing. More than plenty for a wine tasting we think.

From the plush velvet booths and printed wallpaper to overhead leafy decorations, neon signs and touches of gold and animal print, in pretty ironic fashion Lost Society is a bar that actually wants to be found. And rightly so.

Step into their world on Battersea Park Road for disco brunches, live music sessions and Brazilian nights complete with Bossa Nova, Samba and jazz on repeat.

Under the glow of the fluorescent lights, take a look at Lost Society’s drinks menu. Expect your usual medley of beer, spirits and wines as well as floral and fruity cocktails like What’s The Crack (rum, lime sugar, peach bitters).

For a party that lasts a little longer, Lost Society have three spaces available for private hire – their Lounge Bar, VIP area and Lost Garden.

We reckon no few words have ever evoked the same amount of joy as cocktails for under £7, that said that’s what you’ll find at Bar Social.

Located on Lavender Hill, this bar serves up £5.95 and £6.95 cocktails daily from 4 pm - 9.30 pm (and 8.30 pm on Saturdays) and bottles of wine for just under £20. That’s more Whiskey Sours, Cosmopolitans and Mojitos for your buck, and your night out.

Expect live music till late, avant-garde art, decoratively bold wallpaper and the most maximalist bar display you’ll find in Battersea. In true cheap and cheerful fashion, Bar Social also offer free space hire (free prosecco and free balloons) for all events with at least 15 guests.

One of the first things you’ll notice about No. 29 Power Station West is its space.

From the unfinished wood floors, comfy neutral-toned seats, and floor-to-ceiling windows for views of the River Thames on the terrace, to the open view of the kitchen, it’s a breezy and bright venue.

Head downstairs to the bar, photo booth and screening rooms. You’ll find things are a tad darker but as tastefully understated as ever.

For drinks, you could try a classic but quite frankly there are more exciting options. Their most interesting? The twisted cocktails - classics with a twist like the Popcorn Whiskey Sour (bourbon, popcorn sugar, lemon juice and angostura), Fig Old Fashioned and Winter Berry Negroni.
