1. An outdoor bar to sip al fresco on a Brooklyn rooftop: Westlight
Brooklyn
High up on the 22nd floor of the William Vale Hotel in Williamsburg, this contemporary bar attracts Brooklynites and Manhattan dwellers alike for its sweeping views of the city skyline.
Cocktails include ‘In Bloom’ made from beetroot, vodka, lemon, mint and cava while the food menu follows no particular theme. Eggplant dumplings and Dry Aged burgers are on offer.
It may be a bit on the expensive side, but since reservations here are said to be a must, it should be a penny well spent.
Hire privately for up to 110 guests on the terrace or head up for an intimate drink with your date or fellow rooftop fanatic.
