Royal Pavilion

The elaborate and glittering State Banqueting Room, highly theatrical in style, was the perfect backdrop for the celebrated feasts that George would have offered his courtiers and guests. In situ is a grand table, a permanent exhibit, offering a setting truly fit for a grand gathering. You may not serve the 70 dishes that George would lavish his guests with but you will certainly delight in this room which oozes splendour and extravagance with a dazzling centrepiece chandelier held in the claws of a glorious silvered dragon. The collection of Regency silver gilt on display is the one of most important of its kind anywhere on public view.
