1. A Francophile wine list at Clarette
Marylebone, London
Tudor on the outside and Art Deco on the inside, Clarette is the love child of Alexandra Petit-Mentzelopoulos of the Château Margaux family and restaurateur Natsuko Perromat du Marais. Expect relaxed sophistication and elegance so ideal for Marylebone’s pretty streets.
Clarette offers a stunning curated wine list with many available by the glass or as part of daily wine flights, emphasising French varieties and vineyards. The food menu is equally French-inspired and Clarette offers a lunch, à la carte and private dining menu for ten or more people.
The Marylebone wine bar also offers a whisky-tasting experience of three drams of either Scotch or Japanese whisky making it one of our top wine bars in the area because if there’s anything to compete with our taste for wine it’s whisky.
