Sites don't come much more impressive than the Grade-II listed Piazza Italiana on historic Threadneedle Street in the City of London. This majestic building was one the British Linen Bank, but today it provides a grand setting for some classic Italian cooking, courtesy of Sicilian chef Remo Mazzucato. Mazzucato and team have assembled a menu that shines a light on great dishes from all over Italy, focusing on authenticity and seasonal ingredients. Expect a menu that covers arancini, burrata and Italian antipasti, as well as classic pasta dishes, meat and fish dishes, sharing platters and cicchetti.
Those looking for a more flexible dining space for a larger group may want to look at the mezzanine area, which can be hired outright and has capacity for 56 guests and 80 standing.
