The Turbine Hall at Tate Modern is one of London's most iconic and unique event spaces. Housed in a refurbished power station that opened in 2000, Tate Modern is the UK’s most popular modern art gallery, showcasing an unparalleled collection of British and international masterpieces.

The Turbine Hall is a vast and dramatic venue, retaining the original industrial features of the power station. It has been the setting for some of the world’s most unforgettable art installations, including The Weather Project—a stunning replication of the rising sun, Test Site—a series of thrilling slides connecting the galleries to the Hall, and Embankment—a labyrinth of translucent polyethylene boxes that invited guests to explore.

As one of the largest event spaces in London, The Turbine Hall spans an impressive 155 meters in length and 35 meters in height. It can accommodate up to 1,200 guests standing and 700 seated, making it the perfect venue for grand galas, large-scale productions, award ceremonies, fashion shows, and high-profile brand launches.

Please note: The Turbine Hall is available for hire only between May and June. Live events can be held from 6 PM onwards, with the option for daytime build access.
