The best Christmas party venues in Manchester

The Lawn Club is perfect for large office Christmas parties, with capacity for 440 guests. The Lawn Club is a year round social hub with seasonal activations, such as their enclose festive yurt during the winter. And if you can’t go on a drunken rant at your boss in Christmas yurt, then you need to get a new job.

In a sense, ending the (work) year on a high on a roof terrace feels a little poetic and like the stuff of fiction.

It is what you’ll find at the centrally-located King Street Townhouse, though. Up on the 6th floor is the South Terrace and Lounge. With its cosy chairs and a roaring fire, get ready to feel like you’re in a Nancy Meyers film (you know, if The Holiday was set in Manchester).

Just off the corner of Oxford Road, is one of the city’s three Revolution bars. Their private room, The Loft, has its own bar, stage, and lighting ready to go and with room for up to 200 people, we’d say more than enough to get a conga line going.

Right in the heart of Northern Quarter, is Walrus, a cocktail bar (and Christmas party venue) that is just as quirky as its name.

Take in the strawberry milk-esque booths and stools, the walrus head (because obviously there’d be a walrus head), the copper light fixtures, the art, and the industrial-like bar. Then chat, drink, and dance for a Christmas do to remember.

Jokes aside, The Old Fayre at Flight Club Manchester is a pretty cool Christmas party venue – and one that brings a new meaning to playful.

Walk into The Old Fayre and you’ll see what we mean. From the mahogany furniture, and rings of light to the carousel horse and the ripped wallpaper (which is interesting, to say the least) set the tone that you’ve just discovered an abandoned fairground.

Now onto the game. It’s pretty simple, play a game of darts, keep the drinks flowing and the competition going. In between plays, take your pick of drink – it is a Christmas party after all.

Luckily Albert Hall has taken this to heart. In what used to be a Wesleyan Chapel, you’ll find this Manchester Christmas party venue in all its (former) celestial glory.

The stained glass windows and high ceilings are certainly grand and dare we say, heavenly.

It’s obvious why it’s one of the most popular concert venues, but this night, there are no musical artists (unless you have something up your sleeve) just you, up to 300 other guests (or 1800 if you’re standing), and a food and drinks menu to be proud of.

It is the most wonderful time of the year, after all.
