Located in the industrial heart of Glasgow, Simple Arts Photography Studio offers a versatile and affordable space ideal for various photography projects, but is also available for events.

The studio is equipped with professional lighting and backdrops, including white, grey, and black infinity curve vinyl options, as well as a selection of coloured paper backdrops that change periodically. Additional props such as plinths, bricks, a blue ladder, and plants are available to enhance creative shoots. Amenities include changing facilities and tea and coffee.

Studio weekday hire: Full day - £160, half day - £80, and per hour - £30 (minimum 2 hours). The studio is a 5-minute walk from Anderston train station, and 10 minutes from Glasgow Central.

Studio One in Broadscope Studios is a 1,395-square-foot professional photography and film facility. The studio offers an array of photography and film equipment, including but not limited to a two-walled infinity cove, green screen, an entire wall of south-facing windows, blackout blinds, a stylist kit, a fitting area, a kitchen, and free on-site parking.

Studio One can accommodate up to 20 standing guests for an event, with a hire fee from £42 per hour. It’s located just east of the city centre in Gallowgate, about a 5-minute walk from Bellgrove train station. Whilst the venue does not offer catering services, external catering is permitted.

Located in Dennistoun, just east of the city centre and north of the Necropolis and cathedral, the Hanson Street Project Space is part of Wasps Studios. It serves as Scotland’s first purpose-built studio and events complex.

Formerly a warehouse for cigarette manufacturer John Players, the space was redeveloped in 2001 to accommodate up to 200 artists and includes a large events/gallery area available for hire. The open-plan layout offers a blank canvas suitable for exhibitions, workshops, and personalised events, with a capacity to host up to 500 guests.

The Glasgow studio is near a number 38 bus stop that travels between the city centre and down Alexandra Parade, and offers limited free on-site car parking.

Located within The Boardwalk in Glasgow’s Merchant City, the Brian Cox Studio Theatre is a versatile black box performance space. It features full theatre lighting, a fully equipped technical booth, retractable truss, PA system, projector and screen, and can accommodate up to 120 guests with its moveable raked seating bank.

The venue is suitable for performances, rehearsals, and events, with flexibility for various activities, including corporate events, conferences, dance rehearsals, and creative workshops.

The studio is a 5-7 minute walk from Glasgow Queen Street and Argyle Street train stations.

FoSho Studios, based in Glasgow, is a full-service content production and training studio. The Production Studio is designed for multi-purpose productions, capable of creating office, living room, kitchen, and bathroom settings, and also offers a full green screen studio.

FoSho offers a range of services, including video marketing, commercial advertising, photography, podcasts, animation, and website development. FoSho Studios also provides consultation, training, and co-production assistance to help in-house teams create their own content.
