A loft/warehouse which was originally a print works, then a nightclub and most recently a martial arts gym - we’ve recently renovated it but retained the integrity of the building: exposed steels, concrete and brick walls, cavernous ceilings, full height windows, disused freight lift etc.
Within the warehouse is the large central atrium (820 sq ft) and four self-contained duplex studios (useful as green rooms, other hospitality or as locations in their own right). Each studio is around 270 sq ft and has an internal staircase and mezzanine level. Overall size is 2000 sq ft (not including stairwells, shower rooms and toilets.) The warehouse is accessed through two steel doors from street level then up the stairs into the main space from which each duplex studio is entered.
The warehouse has 6 metre high ceilings with full height windows so the building is full of natural light. The ceiling height and concrete floors also allow opportunities for lighting rigs and towers for different filming angles.
All the furniture and textiles are moveable (in fact nothing is fixed down apart from the small kitchen unit) so that the space can be completely flexible.
We also have a flat roof area with views across rooftops, a scrap yard and the elevated section of the Overground Line at Homerton Station.
