Following the enormous success of zuma & ROKA Rainer Becker decided to move away from Japanese cuisine and culture for the first time in over a decade. in 2013 he introduced Oblix, a dual dining experience on the 32nd floor of the shard – europe’s tallest building.
Oblix is a destination bar and kitchen offering a refined urban experience and contemporary cuisine.
Located in the 32nd floor of the shard, the open kitchen proudly showcases the wood fired oven, charcoal grill and rotisserie that are the heart and soul of the Oblix kitchen.
The library table is located in the west dining room and situated in heart of the restaurant. the one tonne stone table is semi-private and seats 10-14 guests.
Surrounded by books chosen as inspiration to Rainer Becker, a unique restaurant experience can be enjoyed whilst dining on a menu of dishes selected by our executive chef Marcus Eaves. The library table is a wonderful place to host your party or business dinner surrounded by stunning views of west London.
