Inside an extensively renovated speakeasy with a history of musical and cultural significance, BEAT manifests a luxury underground aesthetic, showcases a multitude of on-trend art, and offers a unique Berlinesque atmosphere right in the heart of central London.
First opening its doors in 1966, the iconic venue was then known as The Speak. It showcased legendary bands such as Deep Purple, Jimmy Hendrix, The Sex Pistols, David Bowie, and Pink Floyd to name a few. We pay homage to its Speakeasy heritage through some of our artwork on-site.
The adaptable 250 capacity venue is served by 2 bars, a stage with removable railings, and shutters in between the arches if the requirement is for split rooms or a half-club experience for smaller crowds.
