The Showroom is a not-for-profit art gallery, a 2800 square foot space arranged over two floors, renovated in 2009 by Berlin-based architects ifau and Jesko Fezer in collaboration with London's Working Architecture Group.
The gallery's first floor Studio is a beautiful airy and light environment for events of up to 80 people. Available throughout the year the Studio provides an ideal location for meetings, receptions and dinners.
We also have a ground floor Gallery - a big open space with an industrial feel which allows for events of up to 120 people. Availability is limited to dark periods in our programme i.e. between exhibitions. With enough notice we may have some flexibility with scheduling, so get in touch to see what is possible.
We hire out for half days, full days and evenings and offer a 25% discount for charities. Outside of our office hours (10am-6pm) we can organise early and late access.
We can provide AV equipment at an extra charge subject to availability of equipement and technical support staff. In the summer months it is hard to control the level of natural light in the space which means that it is harder to see the projection than if it were in a blacked-out space.

Events we have hosted include an annual carpet fair, product launches, selling events, fashion and other photographic shoots, TV filming, away days, workshops, ideation sessions, evening events, talks etc.
We do not have in-house catering facilities, but clients can have use of our kichenette and we are happy for the client to arrange and bring in their own catering.
The Showroom is situated in a residential area, and so music is restricted to 10pm Sunday – Thursday, and 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
N.B The Showroom does not generally hire out its spaces for art exhibitions.
