A well-presented Grade II listed suite located next to Wandsworth Town Hall. Consisting of two spacious interconnected function rooms, the Civic Hall and Banquet Suite with overall capacity of up to 480 people seated, the Civic Suite can be adapted to suit a wide range of celebrations and events including conferences, corporate events, weddings, product launches, concerts and funerals. The venue is licensed to perform Civil Marriages and Partnerships Ceremonies.
With plenty of room for dining and dancing, it’s own stage, as well as a full bar and kitchen facilities, the venue has additional rooms for Civic Ceremonies or getting ready – as well as large bathrooms and storage.
The function rooms feature sprung maple flooring and wood-panelled walls. Their walls in the Ground- and First-Floor Foyers is lined with portraits of former local mayors that lead all the way up to the ceiling, giving both rooms an Old-World atmosphere. A stage at one end of the Banquet Hall can be used for the ceremony or live entertainment. This stage has a luxurious red curtain that adds to the vintage feel of the space. Above it, small lights glitter in the ceiling and curate a romantic ambience.
Wandsworth Civic Suite is a blank canvas event space that you can decorate to suit your specific tastes. The venue has seated and buffet meal facilities, an alcohol license, and allows for private catering. An in-house coordinator will also be available to help you plan your event.
