About UKIYO Lounge Ukiyo Lounge is our 200 capacity lounge, late bar and club, with seating for 70. Funktion One music system and access to some of the top DJs, with late bar licence until 3am. Dedicated VIP area for larger events in central City Centre location.
The lounge is available to hire for private and corporate events, festival & product launches and private parties. Canapé menus and buffet options are available upon request.
Set in the mid-century CHC Building on Exchequer and Dame, Ukiyo Lounge is a secret space that has been reclaimed, a unique basement with loads of light, dual aspect and high ceilings, a garden smoking area and full disabled access. Original groundfloor venue on Exchequer St. has its own entrance and direct access to the basement Lounge. This venue has its own bar, dj booth and soundsystem, total capacity of 100. Overall capacity for both venues is 300
We take great pride in our food at Ukiyo, we make everything in house from our stocks to our breads and desserts. This attention to detail and authenticity begins with our sourcing of raw ingredients.
We try to keep our vegetable and fruit purchases local and seasonal. Our Black Angus beef is supplied by Trevor Harris in Co. Kildare and is certified biodynamic too. Our pork is from Crowe’s Farm in Co Tipperary, our fish is mostly supplied by Kish Fish and is organically farmed, locally caught or from sustainable sources including the tuna which is Yellow Fin line caught and from sustainably managed stocks.
Previous events include the launch of Dublin Theatre Festival, Private after parties for Dublin Film Festival, Electric Picnic and Forbidden Fruit.
