21 Portland Place, the home of the AAGBI was built in 1776 and is an elegant 18th century listed building, originally built on the 'Grandest Street in London'.
It is a Grade II* listed building, and contains a wealth of attractive features. Particular fine examples are the ceilings of the main rooms - the Portex and the Intavent Suite - which incorporate ornate mouldings and paintings into their design.
Situated on the ground floor close to the reception, the Portex Room is our most popular facility. This fabulous room can accommodate up to 20 people boardroom style or 25 people theatre style.
Featuring modern AV facilities including a 75 inch LCD screen with HDMI and VGA connectivity, web conferencing and teleconferencing facilities, the Portex Room is ideal for smaller training groups. This room can be arranged for use as a reception room or cabaret style.
