The stunning Noes Lobby has 2 fireplaces of black Belgian marble on each side. The walls are panelled with polished Indian laurel wood. It is illuminated from both a skylight and several lamps above the main chamber. The Council Chamber of County Hall is preserved right behind these glass doors.
