Gloster House

Gloster House is a stunning country house for hire in Co. Offaly, Ireland.

The house and gardens are available as a private venue for corporate functions, filming/photo-shoots and weddings.

Within the house, gardens and woodlands there are many options for the location of the event.

The house has a number of reception rooms of different sizes. These include a double-height entrance hall and a large first-floor gallery area, all with elaborate decorative plasterwork. The white chapel can be used for ceremonies and for the late night disco.

In addition, there is a banqueting hall with doors to wonderful gardens and courtyards to the east, west and south of the room. This is the largest reception room in the house, and can seat up to 180 guests.

The courtyard is lit up at night with lanterns to create a truly magical space.

The gardens have Italianate terraces, fountains, lakes and woodlands which provide a magical backdrop for any celebration.

Gloster House is perfectly located right in the centre of Ireland, ideal as a destination for any event or to enjoy when travelling from coast to coast.

On site activities can be arranged, such as foraging walks and small batch local beer tasting.

This beautiful venue is also the perfect base for exploring all that the ancient Irish midlands has to offer, including Birr Castle, Clonmacnoise historic monastic site, Tullamore D.E.W Distillery and the River Shannon to name but a few.

An additional option for overnight events with accommodation for up to 17 guests on-site.
