Spice House is the upstairs space of one of Kensington Street's historic terrace houses, comprised of two rooms, both with their own balconies. The rooms can be used as a function or event space, or as private dining rooms. Both rooms burst with personality, mixing Spice Alley’s iconic blend of Asian aesthetics with edgy street art. The entire venue can accommodate up to 30 guests.

Mekong’s Mezzanine is a semi-private space located on the floor below the restaurant. With a capacity of up to 30 persons it provides the perfect backdrop for intimate gatherings and events. Mekong is ideal for conferences, product launches, birthday parties, engagements or weddings.

Housed in the beautiful Old Rum Store on Kensington Street, the restaurant’s decor and fixtures take inspiration from the fashionable streets of Paris; the imposing oak-wood entrance from Lyon’s venerable Brasserie Georges, brass-railed banquette seating, over-sized carved wooden bar and hand-painted tile walls will have you and your guests transported to a traditional French Bistro.

Gavroche Chippendale is the perfect backdrop for entertaining, celebrations and corporate functions, with a variety of menus paying homage to classic French cuisine accompanied by a wine list featuring some of the finest vintages from French and Australian wineries. 

While the venue can be hired for exclusive use, the set out of the restaurant also allows semiprivate hire for smaller groups. The entire venue can accommodate up to 120 guests.

Eastside is the perfect space for your next event. Eastside Bar & Grill evokes the atmosphere of New York’s meatpacking district.

Dark, sexy and theatrical, the restaurant features a leather panelled bar with bronze back bar display. A custom brass light fixture, an assortment of wood, steel and leather tables and chairs, surround an open kitchen and impressive woodfired grill. The custom-made artwork covers the walls of this 100-year-old heritage building, marrying the raw structure with the chic elements of a New York restaurant, offering the ideal venue to wow your guests. The entire venue can accommodate up to 120 guests in a cocktail-style function.

Eastside is serious about steak and dry aging. Guests will be treated to the flavours of our wood-fired Argentinian Parilla grill and stock only premium Wagyu, Black Angus beef, both grass fed, and grain fed, along with free-range pork.

Located on the second floor of the historic Old Rum Store, the space designed by international award-winning architects LAVA (Masdar, Martian Embassy), features a contemporary indoor dining-room with charming, exposed brick and adorning loft-style windows that flood the venue with natural light. A tiled ‘passeggiata’ (promenade) curves through the restaurant and connects the kitchen, bar, dining and rooftop areas.  The entire venue can accommodate up to 140 guests.

Just metres away, step out onto The Terrace by Olio, a unique alfresco dining space that will transport you to the Mediterranean. The Terrace is also available for hire if you prefer a smaller venue.

At the heart of Olio is Sicilian-born, award-winning chef Lino Sauro who comes from a long lineage of self-sufficient Sicilian farmers. Lino grew up with home cooked meals that were created with the quality produce grown on his family property. This translates into Sauro’s menu with dishes that focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients and reflect a strong connection to his Sicilian roots.

Sauro and his team open the doors to Olio as they would their family home and turn on the Sicilian charm, ensuring an unforgettable experience for you and your guests.
