Park Street Pasta & Wine

Italian restaurateurs Luca Balbo, Lino Torre and Tommaso Bartoli, have combined their love of food and years of hospitality experience to create Park Street Pasta & Wine, South Melbourne’s friendly neighbourhood pasta and wine bar. The lovely venue is housed in a historic corner building at 268 Park Street, conveniently close to the 1, 12 and 96 tram stops.

Park Street Pasta & Wine has a downstairs main dining area and a cosy bar featuring a fireplace - the perfect welcoming to the venue's intimate trattoria.

The Lombardy Room is an upstairs dining room that also serves as a private event space.

Outside, you'll find an idyllic terrazzo area and open-air dining deck, mimicking Italy's iconic outdoor dining experience - featuring festoon lighting, umbrellas for sunshine-filled summer days, and heaters for the cooler months.

Tommaso, the Head Chef, crafts an innovative and seasonal menu that primarily references his Tuscan heritage, but is broadly inspired by the 20 regions of Italy. He began his career in the kitchens of Florence, before he moved to Australia, bringing his knowledge and passion for food.

At Park Street Pasta & Wine, they make all of their pasta in the classic "fatta a mano" method, or "pasta made by hand", and they also provide a nice selection of Italian, foreign, and local wines that pair perfectly with their pasta menu.

The Parklet Deck, situated on Perrins Street, is fully accessible and offers coverage with a large marquee, while lush green garden beds line the perimeter providing a stunning outdoor oasis – perfect for birthdays, work Christmas parties, client lunches or any other group gathering!

The deck can host up to 32 seated guests in an array of different table configurations.
