Lyon is located inside the luxurious Sofitel Hotel & Resort in Brisbane's CBD.

Sofitel Brisbane Central recently won the Business Event Venues 2023 award from the Queensland Tourism Industry Council (QTIC) and received Sustainable Tourism Certification from EcoTourism Australia.

The venue is within walking distance of the city centre, acclaimed Eagle Street Pier, South Bank Parklands and the Convention Centre. Sofitel Brisbane Central also offers direct access to Central Station with easy transportation to the airport and Gold Coast!

A newly-renovated space providing a contemporary and sophisticated feel to any event, Lyon incorporates both Lyon 1 and Lyon 2.

Entirely pillarless, the 240m2 room features integrated audio-visual displays at either end of the room and a retractable wall to provide clients with flexibility.

Natural light floods Lyon through large windows that span from one side of the room to the other, however setting the mood is easily achieved with dynamic lighting and blackout blinds.

Lyon can also be sectioned off into two different spaces:

• Lyon 1 with a capacity of up to 48 guests in a cabaret style and up to 154 guests for a theatre-style function.
• Lyon 2 with a capacity of up to 64 guests in a cabaret style and up to 182 guests for a theatre-style function.
