The Charitable Trusts Room has a comfortable lounge setting, located on Custom House's Mezzanine Level, and is suitable for pre-dinner drinks or cocktail functions.

The adjoining balcony provides spectacular views and still features the original iron lacework cast in England at the end of the last century. An exquisite crystal chandelier and paintings from the University Art Museum bring a special elegance to the room. The Charitable Trusts Room also adjoins the Reid Dining Room and Balcony.

The Charitable Trusts Room was named in honour of Edward Corbould, James Simpson Love, John Christopher Pascoe, Samuel & Eileen Gluyas Charitable Trusts administered by Perpetual Trustees Queensland Limited.
